Follows us like a shadow

If he is merciful

A long suffering

Free falling in peaceful bliss

Is this the end?

We challenged the earth

Mother Nature cornered 

In despair, weeping 

Stop she said, enough

But we kept on,

Ignoring her pleas 

Turning on ourselves 

Dominance and power

No mercy for the weak

Anger, rampant 

Hunger for survival

A world gone mad

And now, here we are

Locked up inside

Fear and panic grips us

Money, status, meaningless

In the eye of this storm

We are all powerless

to that space
no one has ever been?
Is it possible
to love
beyond the surface
And, crave a bond
from deep within?

long enough
to feel real,
to trust
in the unknown
to love

Shadows fall

Have you ever thought
about this life
the one we live in?
We float through
each day
not realizing how,
life’s effects on us
every moment,
every experience,
adds a new perspective.
And we evolve.
From day to day,
living each moment
not understanding
not thinking about,
how each action
affects the greater us,
hidden, like shadow
inside of us.
