I hold on to us
every moment we spend
wrapped in the aura
of each other
I smile at the thought
of where we are
in this space

amidst the chaos
that closes in around us

Sparkling, bright

Indecision;

in life’s coincidences

No freedom,

Sunshine streams 

through the cracks;

crumbling shadows,

of walls

lay open, exposed, 

vulnerable

echoing thoughts,
